National Leadership Fellows Program

A strong cadre of CESCaL Leadership Fellows is being developed to assist the Center in its various training, consulting, research, evaluation, and support functions. This talented group of national leaders, educators and researchers have been invited to assist in improving school counseling programs.

Tim Poynton, Assistant Professor, Director of School Counseling Program, Suffolk University, Boston, MA, He is the author of EZAnalyze, an easy data analyzing tool for educators. Website: www.ezanalyze.com.

Russ Sabella, Professor of counseling in the College of Education, Florida Gulf Coast University .Former President of ASCA, Dr. Sabella is also author of the popular SchoolCounselor.com

Paul Meyers, School administrator, author of several ASCA magazine articles, contributor to the ASCA National Model and former state department consultant for school counseling.

Katie Gray, Former Director of School Counseling, and co-author of the MASCA Model (Massachusetts State School Counseling Model) Executive Director and a Professional Executive Coach. Katie trains school counselors and administrators in comprehensive school counseling programs.

Nancy Jarman-Dunn is a middle school counselor and the programs coordinator of the School counseling credential at University of California, Riverside. She has won both the ASCA RAMP Award and is a multiple winner of the SPARC.

National Fellows Program

CESCaL Fellows will participate in various CESCaL projects each year. We are particularly interested in working with individuals who would like a post masters or post doc opportunity. Individuals selected as CESCaL Fellows will be paid an honorarium for their services and their associated travel expenses will be reimbursed. As well, Fellows will benefit from the opportunity to engage in productive school assistance, training and consultation, research, and evaluation efforts focused on improving excellence in school counseling programs and leadership in schools.
